It is genuinely rare in the hobby with very few breeders producing it, so supply is small and prices stay high.

What is its temperament like?

Generally calm and easy to handle, which is one reason keepers want them. They are curious rather than defensive.

No, the opposite. It comes from dry rocky country, so keep it on the drier side with rock hides and good ventilation.
