Why is the tail so long?
Most of its length is tail, used for balance in tall grass. It can break off, so never catch it by the tail.
Can I handle it?
Not really. It is extremely fast and will bolt the moment you open the lid, so treat it as a display animal.
Can I keep a group?
Yes. A small group in a tall planted tank works well, as they are not aggressive to each other.
What does it eat?
Small live insects every day: crickets, fruit flies and small roaches, dusted with calcium.
