Why

Can I keep two in one enclosure?
No, never. Kingsnakes eat other snakes, including their own kind. One snake per enclosure with no exceptions.
Will it stay pure black?
Babies often show faint markings and darken as they mature, so a good one gets blacker with each shed.
Does it bite?
Rarely once settled, but they have a very strong feeding response. Use tongs and let it strike the food, not your hand.
Is it good for a beginner?
Yes, one of the best. It is hardy, eats reliably, stays around a metre and a half, and tolerates handling well.

This sheet states 4 of 7 of the fields this product runs on. What is missing turns something off: humidity instrument and audit, day/night engine and awake count on the globe, the diet section. We show the gap rather than fill it with a plausible number.
UVB is measured but does not count: it is absent from 421 of 678 sheets, and on most of them that is not a gap, since a nocturnal snake's sheet has no reason to state a UV index. Counting it would call the library incomplete without cause.
